Dina Harbour, Facilitator of the Innovative Kids And Money Program (KAMP)

Dina Harbour is the CEO of Women Obtaining Wealth and the talk show host of W.O.W. on Blog Talk Radio. She also started a one-on-one coaching service for busy working Moms called Women Financial Empowerment.  With a full schedule flying from Atlanta, Georgia to Los Angeles, California monthly to speak with women and facilitate workshops, Dina feels that being a Foster-Mom is her most challenging yet rewarding job.
 
The Inspiration behind K.A.M.P.

"K.A.M.P. was inspired by my two beautiful foster kids. At the time I'd noticed that the school system wasn't really make a distinct correlation between math and money.  I played simple money games with them while going school shopping and quickly realized that they had a hard time calculating correct change and rounding up dollar amounts. The questions I was asking were the exact same math problems they were doing in class and homework."

Dina explains,

"K.A.M.P. is a fun, interesting, and educational way of teaching kids about the financial world in which they live. I don't want kids to continue to get caught up in debt, bankruptcy, and financial ruins. This is a way that parents can be pro-active in teaching their kids the fundamentals of money management."

Experience Professionally, Dina has over 20-years of experience in the areas of lending and finance. Helping others has always been on her agenda.  Dina started tutoring kids in computers at the Inglewood, California Boys and Girls Club (2000) and taught several free money management workshops at the Los Angeles Public Libraries (2002).
